PSJA T. Jefferson T-STEM ECHS Theatre team advances to Bi-District One-Act Play

PHARR – PSJA T. Jefferson T-STEM Early College High School (ECHS) theatre team recently competed at the UIL 4A District One-Act Play Contest that was held March 21, 2024 at Zapata High School and advanced to the UIL 4A Bi-District One-Act Play contest to be held on March 28, 2024, at Zapata High School.  
 
The UIL One-Act Play contest is a competition where similarly sized Texas schools present an 18-40 minute play and may be adjudicated by a panel of three judges or a single judge. The contest is held on a single day and is open to the public. There are six possible levels of competition: Zone, District, Bi-District, Area, Region, and State. 
 
At each level of competition, a judge awards individual acting awards and selects three productions to advance to the next level of competition.
